The Charity Cars organization accepts a variety of vehicles. Each Massachusetts car donation given to the Charity Cars program helps struggling families in your community. Charity Cars is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving disadvantaged families the tools they need to become successful citizens.
Charity Cars is the first organization of its kind to implement a free vehicle program nationally. Charity Cars collects vehicle donations and gives them to disadvantaged families for free. The Charity Cars organization was established in 1996 with a mission to engage in activities that uplift humanity. One of the many ways Charity Cars upholds its mission is to provide free vehicles and vehicle support services to disadvantaged families. Charity Cars uses each Massachusetts car donation made to help struggling families in their transition from dependency to self-sufficiency or to help fund the mission. Since being established, Charity Cars has assisted thousands of families throughout the United States.
Massachusetts residents can donate their unwanted vehicles to the Charity Cars program by filling out the online car donation form or calling 1-800-242-7489. Charity Cars has implemented a nationwide donation system which allows them to make arrangements to pick up vehicle donations in any state. To make a car donation, residents should contact Charity Cars. Within 48 hours of submitting a donation application, a Charity Cars program representative will contact the donor to make arrangements for vehicle pick up. Charity Cars works with donors to find the most convenient time for them. All vehicle towing fees are paid for by the Charity Cars organization. Massachusetts donors can find out more on how to donate their vehicle on the Charity Cars website.
Families across the country are helped when people make a vehicle donation. Vehicle donors are helping families in their communities find new hope. Each year, Charity Cars leads the nation in providing free vehicles to struggling families who are victims of domestic violence, victims of natural disaster, the medically needy, the working poor, living in transitional housing and making the switch from public assistance to work. These families are recommended to receive a free vehicle by church organizations, non-profit organizations, friends, family members, social services organizations and others in the community. With each car donation Massachusetts donors give, Charity Cars is able to help one more family get back on the road to a more fulfilling life.
If the donation is not able to be used as a free vehicle gift to a disadvantaged family, it is auctioned in a vehicle auction or sold for salvage and the proceeds are used to support the Charity Cars mission. Charity Cars accepts every vehicle donors wish to give to the program.
