What we believe of our FreeCharityCars.Org online community is that “Surprisingly, the unique website has organically morphed into an ever expanding, caring online community offering compassion and hope to struggling Americans.”
However, 1-800-Charity Cars, the nationwide car donation charity, realizes that what members of an online community believe is of greater value when ascertaining the foundation a site is built upon. It also gives merit to what we believe to be true of our community. We would like to share with you what our applicants like most about the freecharitycars.org community:
Christine M Larkin (Christysue1972 Joined on: 11/19/13) – What do I like most about the Free Charity Cars Community? It is a hard question to answer without getting emotional. I joined last November because I was and still am desperate for a car. I live on a couch of a friend and my children are over 60 miles away. A lot has happened since then. Some good and some bad. On Free Charity Cars I have found support and friendship. Friends that will last a lifetime. Some support has been the strongest I have ever got. I joined for a car but I got so much more. I like most the relationships that have formed and truly love and feel loved by many. I needed it and didn’t know it. That’s what I personally like the most.
Jamie Busbee ( halens.soldier Joined on: 12/20/12) – This wonderful charity gives hope, support, and encouragement for thousands of people, many of those who have no other options. Everyone has their own story, as victims of circumstance or hardship themselves cast no judgment on others and offer what little they can expecting nothing in return. For those thousands of people that have volunteered and benefited from this charity that isn’t the case, this isn’t a hoax this is REAL and these are REAL people just like you and me. What I like most about FREE Charity Cars is this charity could and has affected so many deserving people and families.
Robbin Mott (robbin Joined on: 11/22/12) – What I love most about Free Charity Cars is the friends that I have made, and knowing that I am not alone in my situation. Free Charity Cars has connected me with the most caring, compassionate people I have met, and I have made some lifelong friends. Whether I ever receive a car or not, those friendships are a blessing and without FCC I would have never met the people that I have. Thank you Free Charity Cars for making dreams possible and giving people hope that they including myself have lost.
Melissa Thomas (needachance Joined on: 09/23/09) – I love the freecharitycars.org site because I feel like everyone is going through different things in life, but we all support each other’s differences. There are so many people from different walks of life, with different needs due to different circumstances but there we are all 1 and equal. We are the best supportive community I think that truly cares for one another.
Sue VanderLoop Anders (Sue Anders Joined on: 05/10/13) – My life has been kind of crazy for a few years now, since my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and his health has been in decline. Our car finally died over a year ago, and by chance I found Free Charity Cars. This site is comprised of loving, beautiful people who are always willing to pray for and uplift those who are going through a particularly hard time. God bless and thank you all!! Love you!
Patricia Dunn Boggs (StillKickin Joined on: 04/30/10) – My favorite thing about the Free Charity Cars community is the fact that the charity exists to give people such as myself the hope of car ownership. In the process of working towards that goal on the site friendships and lasting bonds are made. All of a sudden it all begins to feel like family. It is really nice to have someone whom actually cares about us. Thank you Free Charity Cars for the opportunities you have given us all.
Debra Gregory (082558deb Joined on: 02/18/10) – I like Free Charity Cars for all they do for people who need a hand up to be able to do for themselves. I also adore so many of the people I stay connected with. It is amazing you can care so deeply about people you have never met in person. The CEO Brian, Fleet Manager Reggie and Site Administrator Michelle are all such awesome people. Michelle is always there to help us. I love you all bunches!!!
Richard Noonan (RichardN1963 Joined on: 02/10/14) – I love the support and friendship I received from Free Charity Cars during one of the darkest times in my past few years as a caregiver to my Dear Sweet Mother. You folks offered me a little ray of light. God Bless you all.
Tina Lipske (nexttime Joined on: 03/30/10) – What I like best about the free charity cars community site is that you can relate to other people in similar situations and struggles. You can encourage and connect with others. You may be lending an ear, just listening, providing empathy and giving each other hope of obtaining a free charity car.
Terra Fitzhugh (TerraFitzhugh Joined on: 10/14/13) – What I like best about the FREE Charity Cars community is the unity that I feel. I love that I am able to connect with other people around the nation who understand my struggles as a mother. I enjoy the conversations that I have with some of the other members about our children and what they are going through. It feels good to have other parents to connect with. People who just “get it”. I do what I can to vote each day to show my support to everyone that I can, and love seeing the voting support that I get in return. I don’t expect it, but it is nice to receive it. There really is a lot to like about Free Charity Cars, especially the fact that they have helped so many people and continue to find ways to further help others.
